Schreiner University

As a proud alumni of Schriener University's Centenial Class of 2023, Blair Villarreal has returned back as the Assistant Sports Information Coordinator for Schreiner Athletics.

Blair is originally from San Antonio, Texas where she grew up for most of her life playing tennis and drawing a love for the San Antonio Spurs. During her time at Schreiner, Blair was heavily involved on campus, including being a member of the Women's Tennis team all four years. She graduated from Schreiner with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies with a minor in Sport Communication. After graduation, Blair attended the University of the Incarnate Word back in San Antonio where she graduated with a Master of Arts in Communication Arts in 2025.

While at UIW, Blair gained some great experience working as a Production and Broadcasting Graduate Assistant for UIW Athletics where she gained both behind the scenes and in front of the camera skills working all of the ESPN+ broadcasts for the university while also volunteering during the 2025 NCAA Men's Final Four in San Antonio. Prior to coming back to Schriener, Blair has worked with the SCAC working various conference championships conducting media interviews with coaches and players during the 2025-2026 academic year.

Besides her passions for social media and broadcasting, Blair enjoys playing tennis/pickleball, trying new coffee shops, spending time with friends and family, and watching sports both in person and on TV.
