Schreiner University Announces New Head Women’s Track & Cross-Country Coach

An alumnus of nearby Southwestern University, Brianna Timourian was a standout DIII Team Captain, an All-Regional runner, and held the school's 6k cross country record for eight years. During her collegiate career, she finished runner-up at the SCAC Conference Meet in both cross country and the 1,500m event. Timourian transitioned to Schreiner University from Benold Middle School in Georgetown, Texas. There, she served as a multi-sport coach and educator, leading her cross country programs to back-to-back District Championships in 2024 and 2025. Known for her community-centric leadership, she managed training regimens for over 100 athletes and founded a campus-wide charity run for childhood cancer research. Her prior tenure at Hopewell Middle School earned her a Teacher of the Year nomination and a seat on the school's campus culture leadership committee.Timourian holds a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology with a minor in Studio Art from Southwestern University. Timourian loves running, hiking, soccer, and basketball. She also enjoys creating pottery in her free time.
