LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – In voting done among members of the respective peer councils Schreiner University was selected Athletic Training Staff of the Year.

The Sports Information Staff of the Year award began prior to the 2016-17 season, while the Athletic Training Staff of the Year award was introduced ahead of the 2012-2013 season.

The Schreiner athletic training department is made up of three staff members: Janel Carlile, the Head Athletic Trainer, Chris Ramos, Assistant Athletic Trainer and Dr. Clint Morris, the Team Physician.

The group handled athletic training duties for the inaugural championship of the 2018 fall season when Schreiner hosted the SCAC Cross Country Championship on campus in Kerrville. In addition, the staff covered all athletic training duties for all 15 NCAA men's and women's varsity sports. This marks the second time that Schreiner's athletic training staff has been recognized as SCAC AT Staff of the Year after first earning the honor in 2015-16.
